Avizo 6.3 brings several bug fixes, some improvements, a better support of CAE datasets, and support of a new file format.
Bangalore, INDIA, [November 10, 2010] — Lanika Solutions and Visualization Sciences Group (VSG) are pleased to announce the release of the 6.3 version of Avizo, the visualization and analysis software for scientists and engineers. Bringing many improvements both on performance and usability, Avizo represents an essential step in VSG’s continuous efforts to deliver even more powerful and easier-to-use 3D data analysis tools.
This minor release of Avizo focuses mainly on improvements of the Avizo Wind edition for providing a better support of CAE data sets. It includes also some bug fixing and performance improvement.
Avizo Wind Edition – Improvements and New Features includes all CAE and FEA importers such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, have been improved to support: Displacement vectors, Strain tensors and Stress tensors.
